Overview

students at work in front of a computer The Minor Rehabilitation Technology in the Bachelor's Degree of computer science accesses relevant themes of a future-oriented mediasociety.

Fundamentals of Rehabilitation Technology are imparted in this Minor. In the beginning you will receive fundamentals of rehabilition pedagogy and get an overview of available technical aids. You will learn about concepts of assistive technologies, accessibility and Universal Design/ Design for all.

The aim of the course is to find solutions for given problems of the rehabilitation technology and to optimize product developments following then concept of Universal Design.

The minor is aimed at students with an interest in dealing of user-related technical problems. The focus is an interdisciplinary way of working and problem solving related to social and societal roles in an aging society.
